A high-precision OEM GNSS module is a compact and integrated GNSS receiver used for various purposes. The modules use RTK and PPP technologies, as well as integrate with INS. PPP (Precise Point Positioning) uses corrections from a network of global reference stations to achieve high-precision positioning accuracy in the decimeter range. RTK (Real-Time Kinematics) applies corrections from a nearby reference station to reach centimeter-level accuracy. INS (Inertial Navigation System) is a hybrid system that combines GNSS data with inertial measurement unit sensor data to provide a seamless determination of position, speed, and orientation, even when GNSS signals are unavailable.

Typically, a high-precision OEM GNSS module consists of a GNSS receiver, antenna, and supporting electronics, all within a compact form factor.

High-performance OEM GNSS modules are widely used in various industries and applications. Common use cases include:

  • Autonomous vehicles: GNSS modules provide accurate and reliable positioning for navigation and control.
  • Drones: GNSS modules ensure precise positioning for navigation and mapping.
  • Industrial automation: GNSS modules are used for asset tracking and monitoring, as well as in precision agriculture applications.
  • Surveying and mapping: GNSS modules enable precise positioning for data collection and analysis.
  • Agriculture: GNSS modules deliver accurate data on soil and crop conditions and guide machinery for planting and harvesting.
  • Geospatial data collection: GNSS modules provide precise positioning for data acquisition.
  • Maritime and fishing: Maritime and fishing: GNSS modules support accurate navigation, fishing, and monitoring.

These are just a few examples, and the use of high-performance OEM GNSS modules continues to expand into new industries and applications.
